Master Bedroom Fire Loss

The demolition on this project took five crew members three weeks to complete due to the extensive fire damage. Shown here is the master bathroom which was transformed. After cleaning the soot from the salvageable structure, the repairs began. The drywall was replaced, primed and painted. Most of the light fixtures were replaced and the vanity and countertops are all new.

Smoke and soot facts:

• Hot smoke migrates to cooler areas and upper levels of a structure.
• Smoke flows around plumbing systems, seeping through the holes used by pipes to go from floor to floor.
• The type of smoke may greatly affect the restoration process.
