A flood cut is when we cut out part of the drywall where there was damage after flooding.The cut is made 12-18 inches above where the flood damage stopped. This Columbus, Ohio home experienced flooding due to heavy rains in February. SERVPRO of NE Columbus received over 100 claims from this unusual winter storm. A dumpster was needed for the water damaged contents and drying equipment was placed to the structure.

Central Ohio experienced heavy rain in late February which caused flooding and many sump pump failures. This home was one of the homes where the sump pump could not keep up with the volume of water from the storms. The carpet was not salvageable, and our trained crews removed the damaged carpet and pad.
